Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration – Regional Declaration of Emergency Under 49 CFR 390.23
This Emergency Declaration Responds to emergency conditions created as a result of Winter Storm Frankie, including anticipate fuel shortages in the Affected States and jurisdictions, which will create a need for immediate transportation of propane and home heating oil and fuels, into and from the Affected States and jurisdictions and provide necessary relief.
This Declaration is effective from December 30, 2017 and shall remain in effect for the duration of the emergency or until 11:59 pm (EST), January 14, 2018, whichever occurs first.
