SDP2MA contracts with R&A Risk Professionals to offer continuing UST Owner/Operator Training. In 2011-2013, working together with the SD Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources and through a grant from the SD Petroleum Release Compensation Fund, we achieved 100% compliance for the EPA mandatory training. This is the BEST compliance rate in the nation.
Our trainer, Brian Pottebaum, has taught in access of 1500 seminars and counting. Pottebaum has experience as a in-the-field inspector for both the state of Iowa and PMMIC – insurance company. He brings vast knowledge of all UST systems and related issues. This four hour seminar provides videos, photographic examples and personal experiences.
We continue to offer this FREE training for UST Owner/Operators throughout the state of South Dakota. Each year, 10 training courses are offer throughout South Dakota.
The following classes will be offered to all UST owner/operators. These classes may be attended by new owner/operators/managers or anyone seeking to gain education about USTs.
